Lindsey Canning is a partner in our global intellectual property practice, based in London.

Lindsey has extensive experience advising clients on intellectual property and technology matters in the context of M&A transactions, IPOs and joint ventures. She also frequently advises clients, on both the customer and supply side, on a wide range of commercial agreements, both in relation to business separations and on a standalone basis. These include agreements for the transfer and exploitation of intellectual property, IT and business process outsourcings and system integration and other transformational IT projects.

Lindsey advises clients in a variety of industries, but her key sectors of focus are financial services, technology, manufacturing, automotive and healthcare. Many of the transactions on which Lindsey advises are cross-border in nature. At her previous firm, she was based in both their London and New York offices, having relocated to the latter in 2011 to head up their US IP and commercial practice.
