Gaspar is partner in the corporate and financial law department of J&A Garrigues, SLP. He joined J&A Garrigues in 2000 and has worked in its headquarters in Madrid since then, with the exception of a period in 2002–2003 when he joined Hunton & Williams in Washington DC, USA, a period in New York (2007–2008) and a period in São Paulo (2010–2011). He works in the corporate and banking law department, with special focus on banking, structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, renewable energies, in national and International transactions. Gaspar is registered as lawyer in the Madrid Bar Association, as well as in the São Paulo Bar Association as a consultant on foreign law. He holds a law degree, E-1, Universidad Pontificia de Madrid, ICADE and an MA in International Affairs, Columbia University, New York. He holds PhD in International Public Law and International Relations - Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset and Universidad Autónoma. In 2007-2008 he was a visiting doctoral researcher, Hauser Global Law Program, New York University. Gaspar is a professor at ESADE in the Master’s of Global Business Law.
