Stefania De Michele is a partner in Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato and is a member of the firm’s litigation department.
She has an extensive experience in litigation and in domestic and international arbitration and represents and advises Italian and overseas companies, including public companies, operating both in the financial sector and manufacturing, in connection with civil law, commercial law, corporate law and bankruptcy law matters.
She specialises in corporate disputes on the acquisition of shareholding, legal action against resolutions of shareholders’ meetings and board of directors’ meetings, petitions under article 2409 of the Italian Civil Code, responsibility of corporate bodies; banking litigation; disputes within insolvency proceedings; agency agreements and works contracts; liability of internet providers; liability for liability for false or misleading prospectuses or investment offers; proceedings to impose penalties for insider trading; law of inheritance; press libel.
Stefania served as a partner for more than 10 years in one of Italy’s most prestigious law firms prior to joining Carnelutti.
She obtained her law degree from the Catholic University of Milan.
She was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2000 and has had rights of audience/representation before the Italian Supreme Court since 2013.
