Susan Ning joined King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in 1995. She is a senior partner and the head of the firm’s commercial and regulatory group. She is one of the first legal practitioners in China to practice antitrust and competition law. Under her guidance, KWM became one of the first law firms to set up an antitrust and competition specialist division in China.
Susan is a leading lawyer in the Chinese antitrust and competition field. Her practice focuses on merger control filings to the PRC Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), antitrust investigations, compliance and antitrust litigation. Susan and her team have been highly acclaimed for Chinese antitrust practice for years and recognized by different reputed legal ranking institutions and legal magazines on many occasions.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Laws from Peking University and a Master in Law from McGill University. She was admitted as a Chinese lawyer in 1988.
