Christian Díaz Barcia is a Costa Rica attorney at Law and Public Notary, funding partner of LPA (Legal Professional Alliance). Christian has a LLM in Corporate Law at the University for International Cooperation (San José, Costa Rica) and a Post Graduated Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration at Queen Mary, London University (London, UK). Christian has developed his practice in corporate law, international investment, real estate law, construction law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution (mediation, dispute boards and arbitration). Christian had been professor of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at the “Universidad de Costa Rica”, “Escuela Libre de Derecho”, and “Universidad Latina”. Christian is a mediator and arbitrator in the main Arbitration Centres in Costa Rica with more than 14 years of experience as a neutral. Christian is usually invited as speaker in International Arbitration Conferences. Is the Secretary of the local chapter of the “Club Español del Arbitraje” (CEA) and member of the Costa Rica national arbitration committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
