Eleni Papaconstantinou heads the firm. She has extensive experience in M&As, antitrust, unfair competition and distribution. She has successfully handled major complex and diverse transactions as well as large-scale litigation and she has represented clients before the Greek Competition Commission, civil and administrative courts, the Greek Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice. Her practice includes dealing with antitrust investigations and dawn-raids, conducting antitrust audits for clients, organising antitrust compliance seminars and training programmes and drafting antitrust guidelines.
Eleni Papaconstantinou holds a first class honours from the London School of Economics, ranking top in her class, a master’s degree from Harvard Law School and a doctorate (Grande Distinction) from Université Libre de Bruxelles. She is author of books and articles in the areas of competition, EU and commercial law and she has been teaching M&A and antitrust at the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA), a highly respected professional school in Athens.
