Forrest G. He is admitted to practice in Paris and New York and began his career at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York, prior to relocating to Paris in 2006. He publishes and speaks regularly regarding corporate law matters.
Notable recent matters include representing Charles River Laboratories International in connection with its contemplated acquisition of Citoxlab for €448 million, Rallye and Groupe Casino in connection with massive short seller activity, various French groups in connection with non-public activist positions and interactions, Gemalto in its successful defense against Atos and the €4.8 billion recommended tender offer by Thales, Rhône Group in its strategic partnership with Eurazeo, KN Group in connection with its acquisition by Circet, XPO in connection with the blocking position taken by Elliott Management, Airbus in connection with its acquisition of a majority stake in Bombardier’s C Series aircraft line, and vente-privee.com in connection with its €500 million acquisition of the Spanish-based online-fashion outlet, Privalia.
After graduating summa cum laude from Cornell Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, Mr. Alogna served as a law clerk on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is vice chair and corporate secretary of the board of trustees of the American Library in Paris.
