Alfred is an Associate in Forsters' Private Client team, advising high net worth individuals, families and private banks on a diverse range of private client matters, particularly internationally. His areas of work include advising on: personal taxation and tax planning, such as pre-UK residence planning for non-UK domiciled clients and foreign ownership of UK residential property; the administration, (re)structuring and taxation of domestic and offshore trusts; cross-border estate and succession planning, wills and probate; and high net worth UK immigration. He has particular expertise on the UK Tier 1 (Investor) Visa.
He was recognised in the Citywealth Future Leaders 100 List 2016. He was also shortlisted in the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2016 for IFC Lawyer of the Year.
Alfred trained at Lawrence Graham LLP and qualified at the merged firm of Wragge Lawrence Graham in 2014, the predecessor firm of Gowling WLG. He joined Forsters with the rest of the Gowling WLG London Private Client team in May 2017.
He is a graduate of the University of Nottingham with a BA (Hons) in English Studies. He completed the GDL and LPC at Nottingham Law school and gained a law degree.
