Christopher Reagen, associate, has experience in natural resource development and assisting clients in complying with energy, environmental and natural resource laws. Chris has counselled clients on regulatory and corporate matters and has negotiated a wide array of oil and gas agreements, as well as engineering, procurement and management agreements for energy projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked almost exclusively on natural resource development projects and environmental issues for some of the largest energy-producing Indian tribes in the United States. Chris assisted tribal governments in navigating the federal regulatory framework and worked with federal agencies to develop environmental rules and regulations that would balance development opportunities with environmental protections for tribes. Through this practice, Chris learned to navigate the complicated regulatory framework and jurisdictional issues governing Indian lands. He received his JD from the University of Colorado and BA from the State University of New York.
