Claudia R. Tobler is a counsel in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Department at Paul, Weiss where she advises clients on a variety of insolvency matters including out-of-court workouts, chapter 11 filings, bankruptcy asset sales and purchases, debt analysis, claims trading, filing and prosecution, and bankruptcy litigation, with a particular emphasis on international and cross-border matters including chapter 15 cases. Ms. Tobler recently assisted the American Bankruptcy Institute and INSOL International with the launch of a new database focused on developments under chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code -http://globalinsolvency.com/chapter15 , and serves as the Managing Editor of the site.
Recent debtor engagements include representing Walter Energy Inc. in connection with its chapter 11 case and AbitibiBowater Inc. (now Resolute Forest Products) in connection with its cross-border restructuring. Other representative chapter 11 cases in which she has advised clients include Exide Technologies, Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., Mervyn's Holdings, LLC, Boscov's, Inc., Enron Corp., WorldCom Inc., Hilex Poly Co., Progressive Molded Products Inc. and Verestar, Inc.
