Mr. Ibrahim is a partner in Davis Polk’s Derivatives and Structured Products Group. He has extensive experience in the development and execution of new and innovative financial products across all asset classes. His practice focuses on over-the-counter derivative solutions, ranging from financing and repurchase transactions to hedging strategies; mandatory and optional convertible securities issued in the capital markets (including related derivative transactions); equity-, credit- and commodity-linked products, including synthetic exchangeable securities offered under registered and non-registered platforms; margin loans and affiliate “back-levered” equity positions in significant stakes of publicly traded issuers; cash, synthetic and other tailored securitizations and structured transactions in connection with risk, accounting and capital relief management; and the development and disclosure of customized, algorithmic indices and investment strategies offered through swaps or registered and unregistered securities offerings.

He joined Davis Polk in 1998 and became a partner in 2006. Mr. Ibrahim earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Brown University in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1997.
