Maksym Cherkasenko has been a partner at Arzinger since 2008. Maksym has gained considerable experience in working on business restructuring projects, M&A deals, privatization and insolvency procedures. He also offers management experience gained in large companies such as KINTO and the oil company TNK-BP Ukraine, where he worked as the Head of the Corporate Law and Ownership Affairs.
Maksym led business restructuring and the development of a corporate governance system at TNK-BP Ukraine; advised on privatization issues of a number of energy companies; participated in insolvency procedures at LINOS refinery; and worked on the acquisition of petrol stations and petroleum-storage depots, including the USD 1,000 million of the Gepard network.
