Kazuhide Ueno focuses his practice on commercial litigation and international arbitration, and regulatory investigations. He has handled disputes involving breach of directors’ fiduciary duties, mergers and acquisition, foreign investments and international trade, as well as consumer disputes related to bid rigging and price fixing. During his time as a deputy director at the Office for WTO Compliance and Dispute Settlement in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, he led trade disputes for the Japanese government and presented oral arguments before the World Trade Organization. Kazuhide has also worked as a foreign attorney at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr’s Washington DC Office, in addition to receiving a JD from Keio University and an LLM from Georgetown University. He is admitted to practise in Japan.
