Mark Ohlson has been involved in legal practice in Asia with an emphasis on Taiwan for the past 25 years.  He is a founding partner of the Taiwan law firm of Yangming Partners.  He leads the firm’s Competition Law practice and is also involved in the firm’s mergers and acquisition practice relating to direct foreign investment in Taiwan.  Mark has supervised a large number of Merger Control matters before the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission and has also been involved in a number of cartel investigation matters, including the recent Taiwan FTC investigation of alleged price fixing in the Liquid Crystal Display industry.  Mark previously held a number of legal and management positions in Asia with The Coca-Cola Company, including General Manager of the East China Region, Region Manager of Indochina and General Counsel of Coca-Cola Central Pacific Ltd.  He holds a law degree from George Washington University Law School.
