Damien joined the firm in January 2012 to head the firm’s litigation unit in Valletta. He graduated from the University of Malta with a BA in Legal and Humanistic Studies and an LLD (Dr of Laws) in 2009. Since embarking on his professional career, he has advised and represented various clients in criminal and civil fora.
In 2001, he joined Enemalta Corporation, Malta’s largest state-owned corporation, where he was entrusted with the establishment of the corporation’s legal office, which he headed for 10 years, advising on various fields, particularly on public procurement, energy, EU law, employment law, property law and debt collection. Damien also served as a company secretary and as a director for a number of public and private entities.
