Enrico Fabrizi advises on national and European Union antitrust law and has extensive experience in regulated markets and in the field of unfair commercial practices.
With specific reference to competition law, he represents clients before the European Commission and the Italian Antitrust Authority (in the context of proceedings and investigations, the preparation of complaints, the notification of concentrations), before the civil courts (in cases relating to anticompetitive agreements and abuse of dominant position) and before the EU and national administrative courts (in the context of appeals against decisions of the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority).
He provides advice to companies and major national and multinational groups in relation to mergers, joint ventures, cooperation agreements, licensing and distribution, and has a specific expertise in designing and implementing compliance programmes, performing competition law audits and conducting training activities.
He graduated from the University of Milan and received a master’s degree (LLM) from University College London. He began practice in 1989 and until 1993 worked in law firms in London and Milan.
A former official of the Italian Competition Authority, he is often a speaker at conferences and a frequent contributor to publications on antitrust matters.
In March 2014, he joined Osborne Clarke as head of the Italian competition and antitrust team.
