Charne Le Roux is a partner in the Trade Mark Litigation Department at Adams & Adams in Cape Town and is also the partner responsible for the firm’s sustainability programme. Charne holds Bluris, LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria and holds 21 years’ experience, post admission. She specialises in the prosecution and litigation of trade marks as well as advertising, domain name, copyright and competition law litigation. She has since 2003 acted as a domain name panelist for the World Intellectual Property Organisation and is a senior domain name adjudicator of the SA Institute of Intellectual Property Law. She was selected as Fellow of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers both in 2015 and 2016.
