Lisa Wright is a partner in the Slaughter and May Competition Group. Lisa has extensive experience across a wide range of competition, regulatory and EU work, including antitrust, merger control, market investigations, competition litigation, state aid, public procurement, sector regulation and the free movement rules.
Lisa’s current and recent matters include advising Google in relation to the European Commission’s ongoing antitrust investigation in search advertising; John Wood Group in relation to merger control and foreign investment with respect to its recommended all-share offer for Amec Foster Wheeler; ASDA (a subsidiary of Wal-Mart) in relation competition law; a party in a European Commission Article 101 investigation; and the UK government on the regulatory, state aid and public procurement aspects of several major projects.
Lisa featured in the 2016 edition of Global Competition Review’s top ‘40 under 40’ leading competition lawyers in the world. She has also been noted to be ‘a superstar in the making’ with ‘superb technical knowledge’ by The Legal 500 UK.
