Florian Neumayr is a Vienna based partner at bpv Hügel Rechtsanwälte (attorneys-at-law). bpv Hügel is founding member of the bpv LEGAL Alliance with offices in Baden, Bratislava, Brussels, Budapest, Bucharest, Mödling, Prague and Vienna. Florian is and co-head of the firm’s competition law practice group and heads the litigation department. He advises on all aspects of Austrian and EU anti-trust, abuse of market dominance, merger control and procurement law. A special focus of his is litigation and, in particular, private enforcement. He has a considerable track record in representing national and international clients before Austrian as well as European courts and authorities. Following law school at the University of Vienna and an LLM in international commercial law at the University of Nottingham, Florian earned a PhD in public procurement law. He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences. Florian is author of numerous contributions to Austrian and international publications on competition and public procurement law. He is honorary fellow of the Centre for International Legal Studies and active member of the Austrian bar, the Association of Austrian and German Competition Lawyers (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht), UIA, the International League of Competition Law (LIDC), as well as the Austrian-Spanish lawyers association. Florian has been highly regarded in numerous national and international rankings.
