Margarida Olazabal Cabral joined the firm in 1998 and became a non-equity partner in 2010. She is a member of the administrative and public procurement and urban planning and environment teams.
Margarida is highly specialised in administrative law, mainly in areas related to public contracts. She has experience with pre-contractual matters (public tenders), as well as with the execution of public contracts on behalf of public entities and private companies. In recent years a major part of her activity has been dedicated to public-private partnerships. She is listed in the International Who’s Who of Public Procurement Lawyers and as a leading Public Procurement specialist by Chambers Global.
She teaches at the Portuguese Catholic University LLM programme.
Margarida is the author of several publications and books on public procurement and is often invited to participate as a main speaker in lectures in the scope of administrative law (public procurement and administrative litigation).
