Cyril-Igor Grigorieff is a member of the Paris and Brussels Bars, and holds the position of senior associate in the Brussels office of the firm. He has more than 10 years of working experience as an aviation lawyer. Cyril-Igor has gained experience in matters relating to airline liability in a multi-jurisdictional environment, European Union Regulatory Affairs and Aircraft Finance. Next to his experience as a practicing attorney since 2006 in the sector, Cyril-Igor is a guest lecturer and Research Fellow in air law at Paris Sud University (IDEST) and is regularly invited to speak at academic and industry seminars. He has also gained inside experience working on a secondment for an airline.
He is the author of various publications in the field of air law and is one of the named contributors to the Belgian Transportation Code, in charge of its Air and Space Law sections; and he is currently co-directing the first law book on aircraft finance in French.
According to the Who's Who Legal, he is a “thought leader” on regulatory matters with an “extensive and valuable knowledge of aviation law”. He stands among the “next generation lawyer” in the 2017 edition of The Legal 500 as a “recommended” lawyer.
