Pauline Khor is the Head of our firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Department. She has advised and acted for many foreign and local multinational companies on a wide range of matters spanning the full spectrum of intellectual property and ancillary rights in Malaysia.
In the field of contentious IP, Pauline has appeared on behalf of rights holders in the High Court of Malaya, the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court in high-profile patent, trade mark and copyright lawsuits.
Pauline’s non-contentious practice spans the formulation of IP strategies and policies in protecting trade marks, patents, designs and copyright as well as advising on prosecution and management of IP portfolios. Apart from drafting and negotiating IP related agreements, Pauline’s advice is regularly sought in IP-centric due diligences and transactions where IP is at the core of a major business deal.
Pauline is a registered Malaysian trade mark agent, a registered Malaysian industrial design agent and a registered Malaysian patent agent. She is the Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Committee of LESI and an International Delegate of LESM. Pauline is also a member of APAA, AIPPI, AOTS, ASEAN IPA and MIPA.
Pauline is recognised as a leading practitioner in the field of intellectual property in Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Asialaw Profiles, Managing IP, Asia IP, World Trademark Review 1000, Intellectual Asset Management Patent 1000, Who’s Who Legal Trademarks and Expert Guide Trade Mark.
