Carsten Eichler is a Counsel in the Real Estate and Construction Law Practice Group in Eversheds' Munich office.
He advises on all aspects of private and public construction law as well as architects and planning law. His clients include German and international investors and companies as well as property developers, architects and engineers.
He focusses in particular on procurement matters, advising awarding authorities and bidders in all areas of procurement law, from preparing and accompanying bidding procedures to the representation at public procurement tribunals and at appellate courts.
He further specialises in environmental law, regularly advising companies operating in the chemicals, energy, agriculture and waste industries on environmental law issues in the context of transactions and representing them before authorities, e.g. with regards to permits, emissions, soil and water protection issues. He also frequently advises initiators and investors on the acquisition, development and realisation of wind and solar power systems.
Carsten regularly publishes articles and gives lectures on public procurement, i.a. in the context of the training of architects for the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.
The Who’s Who Legal Germany 2017 recommends Carsten as a leading practitioner in the area of public procurement law (Government Contracts).
