In 2001, Gintautas Šulija received a master’s degree at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, a PhD at the Faculty of Law at Vilnius University, an LLM degree (magna cum laude) and a doctor iuris (summa cum laude) at the Faculty of Law of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, an LLM at Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge. On completion of his studies at the University of Cambridge, he was hired as a contract attorney in London office of an US law firm. Since October 2008, Gintautas Šulija has been practising as an attorney based in Vilnius. Since 2008, he has been actively involved in aviation leasing business and acted on behalf lessors, financiers and airlines in a number of significant cross-border transactions. He is also helping new companies to receive an AOC in Lithuania.
