Philippe Hansen joined UGGC in 2002 as an associate and became a partner of the firm in 2011. His legal practice covers public law and especially public property law, real estate and town planning. His practice has also expanded to railway law and railway regulations.
In France, an extensive part of the art sector is covered by public law and Philippe is therefore very active in art law, working primarily for public institutions and museums on subjects related to acquisition and selling, public domain, National Treasures, Historical Monuments (both movable and immovable) etc.
He is involved both in counselling and in litigation. In addition to his legal practice, he is a very frequent contributor to law journals and is also the author of a book on public property and co-author of a book on art law.
