Aurélia Cadain is a partner in Kennedys Paris office, which she co-founded, and is an insurance specialist with extensive expertise in complex disputes, specifically with a focus on transport law, industrial risk, insurance and product liability, including health products.
She acts for global insurers and assists well-known airline companies, in both their day-to-day operations and in relation to important litigation. Aurélia also acts for pharmaceutical companies. Her practice includes coverage disputes, defence work, subrogation claims. It spans several key industry sectors (aerospace, transport, tourism, manufacturing, health industry/med mal) with a particular focus on product liability.
Aurélia has developed particular experience in complex expert-appraisal proceedings including in aviation and marine matters and industrial risk.
Aurélia is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She holds a master’s degree in business law from the University of Paris X – Nanterre as well as a master’s in international law and Management from HEC Business School, Paris. Aurélia also holds an LLM in European Law from the University of Canterbury University.
Aurélia is a member of Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA) and IAWA (International Aviation Womens Association).
