Paul, Weiss China Practice

Paul, Weiss was one of the first foreign firms to establish a presence in China in 1981. We have represented international and Chinese clients in matters involving M&A, private equity and venture capital, outbound investments, foreign direct investments, capital markets, corporate and project finance, restructuring and internal investigations (including investigations under the U.S. FCPA) and other matters.

In 1998 our Hong Kong office was qualified and registered as a Hong Kong law firm, enabling us to advise on Hong Kong law matters. The Hong Kong and Mainland China offices operate on an integrated basis and are supported by our other offices globally. Our team of multinational, Western-trained, Chinese-speaking attorneys has expertise in U.S. and Chinese law and international business transactions. We have been involved in numerous precedent-setting transactions in and relating to China.
