Getting The Deal Through

Bernard-Hertz-Béjot was created in 1985 by attorneys from some of the most prominent French and American law firms.

Our team of lawyers covers most of the areas of legal practice, in an environment that has always been and still is very international.

We are thus accustomed to high standards in terms of work quality and expertise, and are also used to operate in the framework of a midsize firm, i.e., conditions where reactivity, flexibility and pragmatism prevail, thereby ensuring a close relationship with the client and an efficient answer to its needs.

Bernard-Hertz-Béjot has, in particular, strong expertise in IP/IT and advertising matters and assists and advises French and foreign clients operating in France.

A major aspect of our IP/IT and advertising team’s practice and experience involves:

  • helping clients with their advertising and marketing campaigns in France (review, amendment and assistance with the French advertising self-regulatory authority- ARPP),
  • providing legal advice in connection with Intellectual Property (copyright, trademark, models, patents) and Information technology and new technologies related matters;
  • assisting clients in media related issues (TV, press and Internet…);
  • drafting and negotiating contracts in IP/IT and advertising matters;
  • assisting our client in connection with personal data related matters;
  • litigating before French courts, negotiating and drafting of settlement agreements.
