Nordia Law has offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki. The Stockholm office was established as early as the 1980s and since 1990 has worked under the name Nordia. The firm is proud that many of the colleagues have been with it since the start and that it has experienced stable expansion of the team through the years, and is still growing. Aside from a solid and broad commercial law competence, Nordia is distinguished by top-level expertise in the fields of tort and insurance law, dispute resolution, as well as the field of business-related criminal law, and has 28 lawyers working at the Stockholm office.
The business-related criminal law group within Nordia was established by Hans Strandberg in the late 1980s. Hans is often described as a doyen in this area, and he was one of the first Swedish attorneys who specialised on business-related criminal law and related issues. With his experience in the field, Hans holds an exceptional status both in Sweden and internationally and is regularly recommended by other colleagues in the business. With such a driving force in the firm, the scope has gradually grown and today the group includes besides Hans Strandberg, partners Olle Kullinger, Carl-Johan Allansson and Conny Cedermark, who are assisted by four associates. Nordia is frequently engaged by companies in business-related criminal law issues and has represented some of Sweden’s largest listed companies in investigations concerning alleged corruption, insider trading and likewise.
