We offer specialist advice across the following practice areas:
We plan and manage transactions surrounding all aspects of property and land purchase and management, within Monaco and throughout France.
Assistance in multinational litigation
In Monaco, France, and European jurisdictions we participate or lead in litigation and appear in French courts (and in Monaco courts but always with Monaco avocats défenseurs. We are not members of the Monaco Bar, which is reserved for nationals of the Principality, but maintain offices and practice in Monaco under an authorisation granted by the government in 1989 as counsellors at law). Examples of current litigation include high-profile matrimonial cases, intellectual property, construction law, employment law, fraud prosecution as civil party victims’ lawyer, and asset recovery in fraud and bankruptcy. We also advise on and litigate French tax matters.
Corporate – We advise on corporate matters related to France and Monaco including contract law, securities and investments regulatory issues (Monaco), venture capital (Monaco) and taxation.
Banking and financial services regulations (Monaco), including outsourcing projects, secrecy issues, data protection, online payment systems, and converting branch networks into locally incorporated subsidiaries.
Administrative matters – We assist any entity intending to do business in the Principality in assessing the requirements and tailoring the applications.
Intellectual property (IP) and trademarks – We help international firms manage and protect their IP within Monaco and internationally, as well as Monaco-based companies dealing with international IP issues. We litigate IP cases in France and Monaco.
