Irish airlines set to fight own government following ECJ decision

Aer Lingus and Ryanair say they will sue the Irish government for millions of euros in potential damages, after the European Court of Justice ordered Ireland to collect up to €16 million in unlawful state aid from both airlines.

Colombia blames Bolivian regulators over LaMia crash

News – 06 January 2017

Failings by Bolivian aviation regulators, as well as errors by the pilot and airline, caused the LaMia plane crash that killed 71 people, including members of the Brazilian football team Chapecoense, Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority has said following a preliminary report into the crash.
